Groundhog Phil saw his shadow Sunday morning, indicating we’ll have six more weeks of winter weather, but despite the fact the cold temperatures are here to stay for awhile longer, the Lake Panorama Association remains committed to seeing through its water meter project.

The LPA is hoping to replace all the old, mechanical water meters with new ones by the end of this year, and residents can schedule appointments for changing water meters at this time.

The new meters do not use mechanical parts to measure flow and are more accurate and will be much longer lasting according to the LPA.

Appointments for water meter change-outs can be made from 9am to 2:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  There is no charge for the service unless broken or corroded fitting work needs to be done.
