There will be another Visiting Nurse Services of Iowa event this week at the Jefferson Public Library.

VNS will have its licensed navigators once again at the Jefferson library on Friday to help the public choose a health insurance plan by March 31st.  They received federal grant funds to help individuals make correct health insurance choices.

It will be from 1-5:30pm at the library and pre-registration is highly encouraged by calling 515-288-1516.  Walk-ins are welcomed but aren’t guaranteed an appointment.

Each session may run about an hour but it could go faster is if you know the Social Security numbers, birth dates and any information from an employer that may offer health insurance and those who will need coverage.

Other dates VNS will be at the library are February 28th and March 14th and 28th.
