A notice to Greene County residents that due to the President’s Day holiday on Monday, February 17th, several offices and businesses will be closed.
The Greene County Courthouse and Chamber, Jefferson City Hall, Jefferson Public Library and the Jefferson Post Office will all be closed.
The library staff would like to remind everyone that nothing is due to the library when it is closed for a holiday.
The Greene County Community Center will be open for normal hours.
The City of Jefferson would like to remind its residents that starting Monday, garbage pick up routes will be delayed one day. So that means, Monday’s routes will be pushed back to Tuesday, Tuesday’s will be on Wednesday, Wednesday’s routes will be picked up on Thursday and Thursday’s garbage will be picked up on Friday.
The City urges you to have your garbage out to the curbside by 6am to ensure timely pick up.
