Tuesday, February 18th
A deputy was dispatched to 1100 block of State Street in Scranton for the report of several unknown youth tapping on the windows and harassing the residents at that location. The deputy was unable to locate anyone on foot or in the vicinity of that residence.
A deputy was advised by a resident in the 200 block of Anyer Street in Dana that several vehicles keep failing to stop at the stop sign on Anyer Street at Highway 144.
A deputy investigated criminal mischief to the wooden barricades near the sledding hill at Hyde Park. It appears that a motorized vehicle ran into the barricade leaving various car parts at the scene.
A deputy was asked to speak to the driver of a reported silver pickup truck that continues to drive carelessly and erratically around Scranton. The driver was informed that he will be issued citations if his erratic driving continues.
Jefferson Police Officers and deputies from the Greene County Sheriff’s Office removed eight to ten small hay bales from the roadway starting at the Union Pacific Railroad overpass north on Highway 4 to approximately 190th Street. The bales had fallen off of a southbound truck.
A deputy assisted the Greene County Emergency Medical Services personnel with transporting a 17 year old female that had fallen down a flight of stairs at a residence in the 200 block of V Avenue.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 400 block of North 16th Street in Grand Junction for the report of a possible burglary and criminal mischief to a door at that residence.
Wednesday, February 19th
Dispatchers at the Greene County Law Enforcement Center received a call from a resident in the 1600 block of M Avenue stating that a male subject had just knocked on his door wanting a ride. The resident did not comply with the male subject and he was reported to have started walking south on M Avenue. A deputy responded and did locate a purple PT Cruiser in the west ditch between 260th and 270t Streets on M Avenue. The owner and subsequent driver of the vehicle, Timothy James Warren of Perry was not found by the deputy at that time. The vehicle was towed by Durbin Towing to a secure facility in Jefferson. The vehicle did not sustain any damage and the accident is still under investigation.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
