Head coach Jeramie Hinote has posted the final Greene County High School 2013-14 boys’ basketball statistics on quikstats.com. The Rams lost to Ballard (Huxley) in Carroll on Monday night to finish the season with six wins and 16 losses. Ballard and Carroll play each other in the middle school gym in Jefferson tomorrow night (Thurs.) at 7 o’clock in a Class 3A district title game.

Freshman Trey Tucker led the Rams in several offensive categories including scoring. The 5′ 9″ guard averaged 19.7 points per game, believed to be the most by a ninth grade boy in a Jefferson-based basketball program, on 51% field goal shooting. He made 51 three-point shots and had 38.1% field goal accuracy beyond the arc. Tucker was 85 of 125 from the free throw line for 68%. He also led the team in steals with 47.

Junior guard Landon Braun averaged 9.7 points per game with sophomore guard Tyler Beger at 7.7. Sophomore reserve Mitchell Gorsuch averaged 6.4 points with 5.2 by junior Riah Nelsen, and 5.1 from sophomore Max Neese. The only seniors on the team, Will Meinecke and Conner Wilkens, averaged 2.8 and 0.3 points per game, respectively.
