The Dallas County Hospital Board of Trustees held their monthly meeting recently.
At the meeting, a public hearing was held for the 2014-2015 operating and capital budget. The board has approved a 1% operating margin and 3% total margin with a tax lev of $5.79, which supports annual uncompensated care costs of approximately $1,700.
The financial report shows that January’s gross charges exceeded the budget by $72,395 or 4.8%.
The hospital is planning to host a Retired Teacher Breakfast next week and several events are being celebrated in honor of this year being the hospital’s 60th anniversary.
