Anyone interested in becoming a lifeguard this year is invited to participate in a certification program in Perry later this month.
The American Red Cross will certify anyone 15 years of age and older who successfully passes their three day program.
The class will cover CPR, first aid and lifeguard skills. It takes place at the McCreary Community Building Wednesday through Friday March 19th through 21st from 8:30am-6:30pm.
Participants must attend all sessions and complete the required skills in order to receive certification.
