An organizational meeting for the new Perry Cultural District group is scheduled for next week.

Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Bob Wilson says it will be an informal meeting and a chance for everyone to come together and set some goals.

“It’s a very loose agenda at this point in time.  Really just organizing, seeing what entities we are missing and who we should reach out to.  If you have any interest, give us a call and let us know, we’d love to have you on board the more people the better with this.  It’s just another form of dialog.  We’re going to try and make more work for you but basically we want to help promote your events, help promote Perry, and just continue the progress we’ve been going so hard at” says Wilson.

It takes place Tuesday 8:30am at the Forest Park Museum.  Anyone interested in participating is encouraged to contact the chamber at 465-4601 so that they can plan accordingly for meeting space.
