The Jefferson City Council will meet tonight.
The Council is expected to approve the 2014-15 budget following the public hearing and there will also be a resolution to set a public hearing to amendment the City’s urban revitalization plan.
The Council will again consider an engineering contract with MHF Engineering for a utility study in the northwest portion of the City including the area with the proposed casino along with a resolution to vacate Union Pacific Railroad crossing at Pinet Street for permanent closure.
There will also be a first reading to adopt an ordinance for the 2012 International Property Maintenance Code.
The meeting will be at 5:30pm in the City Hall Council Chambers.
