Time is running out to sign up for the new Affordable Care Act for health insurance and the Visiting Nurse Services of Iowa will be at the Jefferson Public Library two more times this month.

They will be at the library this Friday, March 14th and one final time on the 28th.

VNS will have licensed navigators at the library to help those who need to make decisions and register for the new health care marketplace by the March 31st deadline.

It will be from 1-5:30pm and pre-registration is encouraged to make sure you have a guaranteed appointment by calling 515-288-1516.  Walk-ins are welcomed but may have to reschedule to the final date on March 28th.

Each session will be about an hour but it can go faster is you know the Social Security numbers and birth dates of those needing health insurance coverage.
