The annual Jefferson Fire Department’s firemen’s dance is this weekend.

Fire Chief Randy Love says their annual fundraiser starts at 8pm at Clover Hall on the county fairgrounds in Jefferson this Saturday, March 15th.  Music will be provided by DJ Dennis Matthews with Cedar Creek Tunes.

Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased by any Jefferson fire fighter or at the door.

Love points out that all proceeds will go toward equipment purchases.  He notes that they’ve bought a rotary saw, new sets of air packs and are in the process of buying light weight gear for timber and field fires.
