The Perry boys soccer team will open up practice Monday, March 17th.  Gary Overla returns as the head coach and will return a team featuring 8 veteran starters.  Pat Ferusca injured his knee last weekend while playing soccer for his traveling team in Grimes and his status and extent of the injury are unknown at this time.  Ferusca was anticipated to be a key leader for the Bluejay soccer core this year.  The Jays open up the season with three straight home games before their first road trip to Des Moines and a matchup with Hoover.
