The Perry Area Chamber of Commerce is kicking off their 2014 Lunch and Learn series later this month.
The first in the series of five events this year is An Introduction to the Better Choices, Better Health program at Dallas County Hospital. It takes place Wednesday, March 26th at noon and is an interactive workshop to help people learn how to take control of their health.
Dallas County Hospital Education Manager Sally Swenson will present the program, focusing on getting a good night’s sleep and the importance of action plans.
Tickets for the event are $10 for chamber members and $15 for non-members, which includes lunch. New this year, attendees can also purchase a Lunch and Learn Punch Card for $80. The cards are good for 10 admissions to any Lunch and Learn events in 2014 and can be used by up to 10 different people.
