The Stuart Fire Department is hosting a “Firefighter 2” training class early next month, and all area residents that are Firefighter 1 certified are encouraged to attend.

The class will be led by Stuart Fire volunteer and Stuart Rescue paramedic specialist Kelly Surber.  It takes place Sunday, April 6th at 9am inside of the Stuart Fire Hall.

The class will be the first session in a 50-hour course, one that will feature more hands-on, in-depth and technical firefighting training.
