The public is invited to the Greene County Middle School gymnasium tomorrow for the annual Jefferson-Scranton Elementary spring production.
Physical Education Teacher Lori Danner says first through fourth graders will participate in various songs as well as physical activities and art displays for the public centered around this year’s theme of Disney.
She explains why it’s so important for younger students to be involved in an event like this.
“Students at this age are sometimes a little nervous to be in front of a group of people. But it also gives them a chance experiment with their own creativity, their imagination and get a chance to be in front of people but they also have the assistance of their peers and their class so they’re not all by themselves.”
Danner adds that they’re main goal is to get people excited about being healthy both physically and mentally.
There will be two showings for the Disney Day production. The first performance will be at 1:30pm and the last one will take place at 7pm. Both are free and open to the public.
