Alan Randolph Heywood Jr., age 29 of 2305 1st Ave., Perry was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear-original charges of burglary and possession of a controlled substance.
Robert Marquardt of Van Meter reported the theft of his wallet from his vehicle while parked at a residence in rural Dallas County.
Julio Portillo Bermudez of Perry was traveling south in the 16000 block of J Ave when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $3500.00.
Rodney Clint Backstrom, age 52 of 1411 Osceola Ave., Des Moines was cited and released at the intersection of Highway 6 and S 5th St., Adel for driving under suspension.
