The Greene County golf teams are scheduled for nine holes today vs. Perry and Des Moines Christian. The girls will play at The Hill near Grand Junction while the boys’ action will take place at Perry. Greene County is 0-1 in boys’ golf after losing on Monday to Carroll High at the Jefferson Community Golf Course. The girls from Greene County are 0-2 after a road loss on Monday at Carroll, and a loss to Gilbert at The Hill on Tuesday.

Gilbert won Tuesday’s meet by a 248-289 score for nine holes. Jacke Lenz of Gilbert was medalist at 47 with Lakota Larson of Greene County runner-up medalist at 58. Others Greene County scores vs. Gilbert were 72 by Kate Larson, 77 from Kelsey Buenz, and 82 for Rahat Rubt. Lakota Larson became the first Greene County girl this season to break 60.
