It looks like spring is finally going to stick around for a while, so what better time to get out and enjoy the outdoors after the long, harsh winter.
All Dallas County Parks and Museums are now open for the season.
The Forest Park Museum is open daily, the Voas Rock and Mineral Museum near Minburn is open select Sunday afternoons and by appointment any time and the Grand Army of the Republic museum in Redfield is open most weekends.
Entry gates at Trindle Park, Hanging Rock Park and Sportsman Park are open daily from 8am until 10pm.
Parks at the Voas Nature Area, Kuehn Conservation Area and all other parks in the County are open one half hour before sunrise until 10pm.
In addition, shelters, cabins, lodges and campsites can be reserved by calling the Conservation office at 465-3577.
