Thursday, May 15th
A deputy was advised by a resident in the 2000 block of 250th Street that his wallet was either lost or stolen while he was in the Casey’s General Store in Grand Junction. The deputy will be viewing the store video to determine who may have taken the wallet.
Friday, May 16th
A deputy spoke with a Rippey resident in the 500 block of 5th Street about a civil issue between her and a neighbor.
A deputy was dispatched to the Peoples Trust and Savings Bank in Grand Junction for a reported alarm activation. The bank was found to be secure.
The Webster County Sheriff’s Office advised dispatchers at the Greene County Law Enforcement Center of a single vehicle accident that occurred on the Webster – Greene County line. A 2003 Ford Taurus that is owned by Jon Bushman of Scranton and was being driven by Dylan Mikul Casali 17, of 1074 T Avenue, Grand Junction, was eastbound on 100th Street when Dylan Casali lost control of the vehicle as it approached Highway 144 or U Avenue. The Bushman vehicle slid into the east ditch of the intersection at U Avenue and 100th Street. Three other youth were riding with Casali at the time with no injuries being reported. Dylan Casali was issued a citation for Failure to Maintain Control. The vehicle was towed by a private party from the scene with no damage estimate reported at this time.
Saturday, May 17th
A deputy was advised of an alarm activation at the Peoples Trust and Savings Bank in Grand Junction. The deputy and a key holder determined the bank to be secure.
A deputy was unable to locate a reported erratic and careless driver on Highway 30 near Grand Junction.
A deputy is investigating a trespassing complaint in the 2100 block of Neola Avenue.
A deputy was advised of a red Corvette traveling at a high rate of speed leaving Ogden in Boone county and heading west bound towards Greene County on Highway 30. The car was not located by the deputy.
A deputy spoke with a resident in the 2100 block of P Avenue about a possible phone scam. The caller stated that he needed personal information and access to her computer to allow her to update a Windows Program. She did not comply with the caller.
A deputy responded to a reported domestic altercation in the 700 block of Hill Street in Churdan. The issue was resolved when one of the male subjects went to another residence for the night.
Sunday, May 18th
A deputy assisted a Jefferson Police Officer with a traffic stop and subsequent arrest of a male and female subject.
Due to a Jefferson Police Officer busy on another call, a deputy was dispatched to the Sparky’s One Stop in the 600 block of Highway 30 East for a reported verbal dispute. After an investigation by the deputy he subsequently arrested Hayley Brown 21, of Jefferson for Driving While Barred.
A deputy was dispatched to a rural residence in the 1800 block of 115th Street to help resolve a verbal domestic altercation between family members.
A deputy was advised of cattle out on 190th Street at M Avenue. The owner was notified and placed the cattle back into the pasture.
A deputy spoke with a Rippey resident about her son having his jacket stolen from his vehicle while parked at the laundromat in Grand Junction.
A deputy was advised of a stray dog that was found in Grand Junction and needed to be placed in the animal shelter in Jefferson.
A deputy checked an unoccupied vehicle that was parked off the roadway near The Hill Golf Course on Highway 30. The owner soon arrived with a can of gas to remove the vehicle.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
