Saturday, June 7th, is turning out to be a very busy day in Guthrie County.

We’ve got another event happening to report for you–the Menlo Fire & Rescue Department’s “Bags Tournament & Dance.”  Kayla Gilman says this is the second year for her department’s bags fundraiser.

The tournament will begin at 1:30pm on Saturday the 7th, and it’ll be held outside the Menlo Fire Station on Main Street.  Rebyl Road will provide the musical entertainment starting at 8pm that night.

The cost to participate in the bags tournament is $20 if you pre-register or $25 at the gate.

Gilman asks that participants not bring their own coolers–beer, pop and food will all be for sale throughout the event.
