There’s lots to do during the sixth annual Bell Tower Festival Motorcycle Show and Poker Run in Jefferson next month.

Committee member Angie Reese-Hueser says their event will be on Saturday, June 14th starting at 8am with the poker run.  Riders are to start at People’s Trust and Savings Bank in Jefferson Saturday morning and ride on a 125-mile trip with stops in Perry, Woodward, Ogden, Dayton and Paton before returning to Jefferson.

She explains the details about the poker run.

“You will be given a card and you go to these different stops and they will stamp your card.  So when you come back from the event, you check-in with the register and they will give you a poker hand and whoever has the best poker hands, the top three, will win cash prizes.”

The entry fee is $25 per driver and $15 per passenger which includes a t-shirt, a poker hand and a Pizza Ranch meal ticket.

Then from 1-5pm, Reese-Hueser points out that there will be a free performance by Planet Rock Band from Fort Dodge in the beverage garden.

She also invites everyone to the free motorcycle show from noon-4pm in the People’s Trust and Savings Bank parking lot.  Registration will be from 9am-1pm with categories ranging from metric vintage to people’s choice, trikes, custom and late models all included.

Thanks to sponsors like VanWall Powersports, McLaughlin International.New Way, Carroll Cycle Center, 209 Main, Tool Bar, Burbaker’s Spicy Barbecue Sauce, Neese, Incorporated, Doc’s Stadium, Oly’ Corner and the Hog House/Amsoil along with all other proceeds will go back to the Raccoon Valley Kiwanis Aktion Club of Jefferson.
