stuart2The academic calendar year is about finished in school districts across Guthrie County, but that doesn’t mean students have to stop with their learning entirely during the summer time.

For instance, the Stuart Public Library will be hosting its annual Summer Reading Program again this year from June 16th to July 25th for West Central Valley youth. Registration for the reading program, which is titled “Fizz, Boom, Read,” will be held from 1 to 7pm on Thursday, June 5th, and from 1 to 5pm on Friday, June 6th.

It is free and open to any Stuart area youth.

Reading program coordinator Lacey Partlow says she is still looking for volunteers to help lead the summer reading sessions.

If any area residents have questions about Stuart Library summer reading, call Partlow at 515-523-2152.
