Guthrie Center’s Relay for Life will be here before we know it, and there are a couple of important dates for area participants to know about before the big event.

Tomorrow night is the final Relay for Life team committee meeting at 5:30pm at Sneakers Cafe in the Guthrie County Hospital.  So far there are 17 teams signed for this year’s Guthrie County Relay for Life.

Then on Monday, June 23rd, the Guthrie County State Bank in Guthrie Center is hosting Relay for Life Bank Night from 5 to 7pm.  That will be when teams can turn in their fundraising money, pick up team shirts and schedule with theme laps, pick out campsites and finalize their team information.

Both evening events precede the Guthrie County Relay for Life, which will be held from noon to midnight on Saturday, June 28th at the Guthrie Center High School track.
