Ryan Alan Cooklin, age 36 of 306 Birch St., Woodward was arrested at this address for domestic assault, assault and obstruction of emergency communications.

Deputies responded to a 4 car accident at 32000 block of Highway 169.  Arthur Riesberg of Exira, Lasse Boerre of Grimes and Cassandra Melbie of Winterset were all stopped waiting for traffic ahead of them when a vehicle driven by Alvaro Zarate-Gonzalez of Perry did not see that the vehicles were stopped and rear ended Melbie’s vehicle which pushed the other 2 vehicles.  No injuries reported.  Damage to Riesberg’s vehicle estimated at $1000.00, $3000.00 to Boerre’s, $8000.00 to Melbie’s an$8000.00 to Zarate-Gonzalez’s.  Zarate-Gonzalez was cited for failure to stop within the assured clear distance.

Donara Tanatsky Minor, age 33 of 1414 Beverly Circle, Adel was arrested on warrant for violation of the sex offender registry.

De Soto Intermediate School at 215 Spruce St., De Soto reported that three separate windows to the school building had been broke out.
