The Bell Tower Festival is now just one day away and there’s lots to do on the kick-off night on Friday, June 13th.

The six inflatable rides and attractions will be open from 4-9pm on the east side of the square along with the vendors and booths from 4-8pm.  Iowa State University Alley which features various programs by the Greene County ISU Extension Office will be from 4-7pm on Friday on the south side of the square.

The community barbecue will be served at the Greene County Community Center from 5-7pm.

A flag ceremony will take place at 6pm by the Jefferson Elk’s Lodge #2306 by the Lincoln statue, then at 6:50pm will be the presentation of colors by the VFW and and American Legion Post #9599 for the start of the opening ceremonies.  The Bell Tower of Fame Award presentation will be made at 7pm followed by a reception at 8pm.

The art show will be from 8-9pm at the Greene County Historical Museum.

Then in the beverage garden will be mega beer pong at 7:30pm with registration at 7pm followed by the band “Burnin’ Sensations” from 8:30pm-12:30am.
