Funeral Services for Gertrude “Toots” Johnston, 100, of Jefferson, Iowa formerly of Dawson, Iowa will be 10:30 am Monday, June 16, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church in Grand Junction, Iowa.  Interment will be at the Junction Township Cemetery, Grand Junction, Iowa.  Visitation will be after11:00 am Sunday, June 15, 2014 at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Jefferson with the family present to greet friends from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.  Memorials are suggested to the family and may be left at Slininger-Rossow Funeral Home in Jefferson.

Survivors include her 5 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
