The Hispanics United for Perry are doing something a little different this year… instead of their annual Latino Fest in the fall, the group is pairing up with the Perry Area Chamber of Commerce for Friday Fest next week.
HUP Board Member Mary Murphy says after being approached by the Chamber they thought this would be a good partnership to try out. She says it will help create synergy, streamline logistics like event insurances and entertainment booking and help potentially bring a new crowd to a HUP event.
There are several activities planned for people of all ages.
We’ll have more with Murphy and Rosa Gonzales on today’s Let’s Talk Dallas County during the 9am, noon and 5pm hours on AM 1310 KDLS.
