As long as the weather holds off, this weekend should be an action packed one in Guthrie County.

There are many big events going on, starting tonight with Stuart’s Good Egg Days.  The three-day town celebration kicks off at 5 o’clock with a meal sponsored by the Stuart Chamber of Commerce.  Tonight’s Good Egg Days activities also include the Kiddie Parade and a ceremony honoring the event’s Grand Marshal and Citizen of the Year.

Good Egg Days then continues with an 8 o’clock start tomorrow morning.

The Guthrie County Arts Council is hosting its 3rd annual Art in the Village tomorrow too.  Live music will accompany the dozens of local artists that will have their work on display from 9am to 5pm tomorrow at the Guthrie County Historical Village in Panora.   

There is no cost to attend the event though free will donations will be accepted.

Also in Panora this weekend is the City’s Community-Wide Garage & Sidewalk Sales.  The sales begin at 5 o’clock today and run until 8pm.  Area residents can then get out and shop once again tomorrow morning starting at 8am.

Event coordinator Gayle Shackelford says there will be 14 garage or sidewalk sales in Panora and 11 to choose from out at Lake Panorama.
