Voting is now open for the Strong Communities Award from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines, and as we first reported last week, the Warren Cultural Center in Greenfield is one of six finalists vying for the $15,000 award.
The winner is supposed to “honor the projects, the people and the programs that promote small business growth and retention in their communities.”
The Warren Cultural Center is a finalist for the Strong Communities Award through its affiliation with Greenfield’s First National Bank and Union State Bank, both of which are FHLB Des Moines members.
Voting for the best community project opened yesterday and continues through August 1st.
