Dallas Center is one of many communities across the country planning to participate in National Night Out next month.
Local fire, emergency medical services, police and city officials will gather at Mound Park that evening for public safety demonstrations on a variety of topics such as property seat belt installation and use.
The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office will be there with K-9 demonstrations, there will be firearms education and fire safety activities, as well as inflatables for the kids, giveaways and live music.
