The Lake Panorama Association will be hosting a member-boats only bass fishing tournament at this year’s Panorama Days Celebration next weekend.

It will be a two-person fishing tournament for LPA members only due to the increased efforts to prevent invasive species from being brought in by non-member boats this summer.

Registration for the tournament starts at 5am at the Lake Panorama Marina next Saturday, August 2nd.  Fishermen and women will then launch boats by a hat drawing at safe light at about 5:45am.

The tournament will end at 1pm with the official fish weigh-in starting shortly after.

The cost for members to participate is $80 per boat and an additional $10 per boat if you want to be in the “Big Bass” contest.  To be eligible to enter, all boats must be currently registered at the lake and have an updated LPA sticker.
