A heads up to Adel residents, maintenance to the city’s water towers may impact your water pressure.
Crews are currently painting and servicing the tower near 15th and Prairie Streets, a project that is typically done every 10 to 20 years.
Work started last week and once the north tower is done, crews will move on to the south tower near the aquatic center late next month, with both expected to be done by the end of October.
Residents may experience variances in water pressure during the service time as the City will be periodically flushing some fire hydrants.
