Guthrie Center schools have a few things going on the first week of August for your kids.
Head Varsity Football Coach Mark McDermott and staff will be conducting a Tiger football camp for students interested in the basics of football August 4th through the 7th.
Camps will be held at the Junior/Senior High School practice football fields at 906 State Street.
Grades 4th thru 6th and Junior High students will be from 10 am to 11:30 am and High School students will be 6 pm to 8 pm with weights at 5 pm. Registration fee is $40 per camper.
Also, registration for all students for the 2014-15 school years is August 5th from 10 am to 7 pm.
During registration, Lori Hix, Booster Club president points out that students can sign-up to help with concessions during the football games as well as the Tiger Paws painting for the Senior Class.
