The Iowa State Cyclone Football Team is getting set for their season opener which is a little less than a month away when they take on North Dakota State. There will be a lot more interest from Perry this year with the Cyclone Football team, because a former Bluejay Football player is looking for a starting gig with Iowa State. Kane Seeley enters his Redshirt Sophomore year competing with three other players for the starting Middle Linebacker position inside the Cyclone Defense. Today we begin a six part series with Kane talking about the various aspects of college football, beginning how the summer workouts have been going. “We’ve been summer training for a long time now this is already the ninth week, we only got one week off after break and that was it. Just lifting and running and then slowly been increasing some film work, and some different drills, individual drills and 7-on-7 and things like that. So just getting ready for the season, and we’ll be ready to roll when camp rolls around in August.” That’s Iowa State Linebacker Kane Seeley, tomorrow we’ll talk with Seeley about the areas that he needs to improve on  to make the jump into the starting lineup.
