All-District baseball teams for 2014 from the Iowa Baseball Coaches Association have been released to the public. Greene County pitcher Colton Fitzpatrick was named to the Class 3A West All-District second team as a pitcher. The right handed junior went 5-3 for the Rams, who were 11-15 overall. Fitzpatrick had a 2.01 earned run average with 52 strikeouts and 14 walks in 58 innings pitched. He was the lone Greene County player named All-District.

The IBCA All-State teams will be announced in the coming days.

The 2014 All-State Softball selections from the Iowa Girls Coaches Association will be public information tomorrow. The Raccoon Valley Radio stations and raccoonvalleyradio.com will have the names of those players from the area that were selected in Classes 1A, 2A, 3A, and 4A.

The IGCA All-District teams were announced prior to the State Softball Tournament and Greene County players Emily Christensen and Marissa Promes were on a 3A All-District team.
