There still time to sign up for a baby bubblers class at the Jefferson Municipal Pool.

Parks and Recreation Director Vicky Lautner says the program is for children ages six months to three years-old.  The parents and child will learn about pool safety and introduce the child to the pool and proper water play.  There’s a limit to ten children participants.

She talks about future plans for this kind of a class.

“Well right now we’re limited to ten.  If we have enough to do classes, we will do that.  But this will be the only baby bubblers class that we offer this year.  We’ll wait and offer it again next summer.”

The classes will be at the City’s swimming pool from 5:30-6:15pm from Monday, August 4th to Friday, August 8th.

The fee is $15 and to sign up for the baby bubblers class, call or stop by the Greene County Community Center.
