The Dallas County Extension and Outreach office is holding their annual Farmland Leasing Meeting next week in Adel.
This year’s workshop will focus on issues related to land values, rental rates, Iowa’s Water Quality Initiative and the Agriculture Act of 2014.
Led by Farm Management Specialist Steve Johnson, attendees will talk about current cash rental rate surveys and factors driving next year’s rents. They will also have the opportunity to ask questions about farmland leasing and take hope a 100 page booklet full of information.
It takes place from 9am until noon Monday in the ADM High School commons.
Registration for the meeting is $20 per person, or $30 for a couple to cover the cost of materials.
For more information or to register, call the extension office at 993-4281.
