The Humane Society of Perry is hosting their third annual rabies clinic next month.
Taking place Sunday, August 31st at the Perry Dog Park, the event aims to protect all local cats and dogs from the often fatal virus.
Road vet Dr. Abby Strobbe will once again be donating her services. Appointments are not necessary, though owners need to bring their dogs on a lease and cats in a carrier to travel kennel.
Everyone is asked to bring any medical records they have for their pets to help Dr. Strobbe determine if your dog or cat is eligible for a one or three year vaccination.
The cost is a $10 donation to the local humane society.
Microchipping will also be available at the event. The 11am-1pm event is weather permitting with a rain date scheduled for the following Sunday. If you have questions call 240-7581.
