This weekend is the popular Highway 141 Garage Sale and hundreds are expected to make their way along the more than 100 mile route full of sales.
In its 12th year, the string of sales extends from Manilla to Grimes with items available in a dozen different communities.
Perry Area Chamber of Commerce executive director Bob Wilson reminds residents and shoppers that as always, it’s important to be alert and stay safe as there will likely be a lot of traffic and people stopping along the roads.
In addition to household garage sales, there will be flea markets and vendors set up along the route along with various non-profits selling refreshments.
Most sales start at 8am tomorrow and Saturday and end at their own discretion.
