Below are pictures of different construction projects from around Greene County:
Wild Rose Jefferson’s site at the northwest corner of US Highway 30 and Iowa Highway 4 intersection leveling the ground for its $40 million, 4o-acre facility.
Bauer Built Manufacturing’s completed exterior of its new 170,000-square foot facility in Paton. It will create 50-60 new jobs and is anticipated to be open later this fall.
Scranton Manufacturing’s expansion project has the ground leveled and concrete footings are to be poured later this month. Its 56,000-square foot expansion is the largest the company has ever added to its current facility in Scranton.
Greene County Medical Center’s 51,000-square foot expansion has the footings poured and an 8-foot retaining wall built with steel beams to go up later this fall.
The Scranton Public Library has finished building its new 3,200-square foot structure and re-named it the H.F. & Maude Marchant Memorial Library. The grand opening is expected to be later this fall.
Greene County’s new welcome center, on the southeast corner of the downtown square in Jefferson, has recently completed the outside re-structuring with a new facade and a re-built back wall. The interior is expected to be re-modeled with an opening date of sometime next year.
