With growing concerns over making school grounds safer and more accessible, the Panorama School District is putting upgrades and improvements in motion.
The final stages of a three year plan to completely renovate the elementary playground are underway. All broken equipment has been replaced and a new fence on the west and south sides of the playground are scheduled to be completed this week. Eighteen additional paved parking spots will be available on the south side of the playground for visitors and staff as well.
New renovations have also been completed for the high school gymnasium. The ceiling and walls have a new coat of paint and new bleachers will be shipped out to the high school the first week of September. The new bleachers will provide for handicap accessibility and include handrails to make them safer than the old bleachers.
