The Brand New Rock Hunger Traveling Trophy for Perry-ADM Battle

This Friday is the first football games of the 2014 fall season for Adel-DeSoto-Minburn and Perry High Schools and it also signifies a start of a new tradition.

ADM Activities Director Reece Satre says the Adel and Perry Lion’s Clubs are partnering to raise funds for their local food pantries.  He comments that he and the ADM students are behind this project and he is excited to see both communities work together to fight hunger in each city.

As his first year as the new AD for ADM, he talks about this Friday’s game as a building block for him for the rest of the year in terms of his goals as AD.

“Just kind of excited to see how it all gets going here and I look forward to kind of meeting new people in the community and kind of hearing what everyone’s got to say and we can kind of start to compile stuff and head forward here.”

In addition to raising funds through game time this Friday, Satre adds that the winning team receives a traveling trophy of a Raccoon River rock.
