The Annual Iowa Yearly Meeting was held August 2nd in Oskaloosa and this meeting was significant to the congregation of the Stuart Friends Church.

The I.A.Y.M. which is made up of a group of orthodox evangelical friends churches including 35 in Iowa.

Two individuals completed their course this year and were ordained. Pastor Chuck Weesner of Stuart Friends Church was one of them and the following Sunday was presented with gifts honoring his ordination by his congregation.

The Stuart Friends Church is located at 723 North Fremont Street in Stuart.
