Now that the Labor Day holiday has passed for the year, the Mahanay Bell Tower has changed its hours of operation.

It is now open from 10am-4pm on Saturdays and Sundays in September and October.

Plus, a reminder for anyone 18 years-old or younger that they are admitted free to the Bell Tower thanks to a donation by the Jefferson Telephone Charitable Trust that was made this past July.

Bell Tower Community Foundation President Carole Custer says the free youth admission is valid for the rest of this year and next year as well.  Adult admission is $3.  She states that any other organization or business looking to make a donation to keep youth admission free for future years, may contact her for more information.

The Bell Tower is also available for private tours by calling the Greene County Chamber at 386-2155.
