Those who need help or more information about Social Security can come to a special event at the Stuart Public Library today.
Library Director Sandy Pollard says a representative from a Social Security company in Carroll will be at the library from 1-3pm. Participants will learn about the Social Security program and then they will be shown how to setup and use an online account.
She points out that the “My Social Security” class is open to anyone approaching retirement age or family members of those who are approaching that age or who need additional help with the online version of the program.
Pre-registration is not required. Call the library for more information at 523-2152.
