The Perry swimmers lost to Boone and Algona in high school swimming last night. All 4 swimmers in the water for Perry had some remarkable times.
Haileigh Kenyon swam the 200 Freestyle for the first time with a very respectable time.
Freshman Breanna Penenger swam the 500 freestyle for the first time coming in almost 8 seconds under her projected time, then swam in the very next varsity event as part of the 200 freestyle relay.
Haley Vaughn was a winner against both teams in the 200 IM and finished the meet with a personal best time in the 100 breaststroke.
Freshman Vivian Gonzalez had a strong leg of the 200 freestyle and then swam the very next varsity race, the 100 backstroke.
Perry returns to action Saturday with the Ames Invitational.
