The ADM cross country teams ran in the Ballard Invitational yesterday, with mixed results. In varsity group B, the boys team finished eighth out of 10 teams while the girls finished fifth out of 10.

Senior Jenny Wicks paced the lady Tigers by placing 26th with a time of 17:49. The next three runners to cross finish line for ADM were all within 13 seconds of Wicks and all freshmen. Kylie Hauf placed 29th with a time of 17:55, Jesse Howard was next in 31st place with a time of 18:00, while Ashlie Hauf was right behind Howard in 32nd place and just two seconds slower.

For the boys, sophomore Luke Huen lead the way by placing 26th with a time of 19:08. Seniors Connor Slater and Kyle Ferguson joined Huen with sub-20 minute times, as Slater placed 28th with a time of 19:11 and Ferguson was 36th at 19:27.

The Tigers will next race on Thursday in the Winterset Invitational, which was postponed from last Tuesday due to thunderstorms.
