Dallas County Hospital has added a new social worker to their staff.

Erica Wenger joins the hospital team as the new Care Coordinator.  She will be responsible for helping patients identify resources for primary and preventative care, behavioral health and other social support service needs.

Wenger says she’s excited to be part of the Dallas County Hospital team, adding that she hopes to be a resource for patients who need help finding health insurance or prescription drug coverage, treating a chronic medical condition or assistance with understanding preventative care measures.

The addition of Wenger is supported by funds from the Mid-Iowa Health Foundation.
