Things slowed down a little bit for the Stuart Cottage Pantry in August, after a record breaking month of July.

Last month the local food pantry served a 118 families and a total of 367 people.

Director Marlis Beeler says items they need at this time include jelly and jam, peanut butter, noodles, condiments, crackers, soup, shampoo, paper products, toothpaste and deodorant.

Donations can be mailed to the Cottage Pantry at P.O. Box 452 in Stuart.  The pantry is open Wednesdays from 1:30-5pm.

If you have questions or want to help, contact Beeler at 523-1301.
