With the election now less than a month away, the Perry Area Chamber of Commerce is hoping that once people go cast their vote they will stop by the McCreary Community Building for a meal.
Executive Director Bob Wilson says the Election Day Chili Feed has become quite the tradition in Perry as this is their 49th event. He says it’s a great opportunity to serve the community and promote the chamber and all the Perry businesses.
It’s one of the primary annual fundraisers for the Chamber. It takes place from 11am until 7:30pm and everyone is invited to stop by and enjoy all you can eat chili for $6. Slices of pie will also be available for an extra $2.
Any businesses or organizations who would like to sponsor the event can do so by advertising on the event placemat.
Contact the Chamber for more information at 465-4601.
